- AFAIK, the answer is no, you can not set the serial device to 38400 with
- sys:prefs/serial. But any telecom software, such as Term, etc., will allow you
- to configure it's use of the serial port to a speed independant of the OS
- preferencence's setting. As well, if you are using AmiTCP/PPP you can set your
- serial port speed to 38400 or higher (although I reccomend 38400, because I've
- had data problems setting the serial port on my A3000 to faster rates) in the
- PPP configuration file: env:sana2/ppp0.config. I can't tell you about the other
- SANA2 drivers for AmiTCP, but I'm sure they are similar.
